Graduated in Information Sciences, she did the postgraduate course of Film Script in Barcelona. She started in the world of journalism in the local weekly magazine Barren, where she worked for 5 years.
Her career on television began with Kike Amonarriz, with whom he presented the program Bai zera! Then came: Sorginen Laratza, Hasiberriak, Goenkale, Kuxkuxeroak, Wazemank and Horrelakoa da bizitza, programs in which she has worked as a screenwriter. She also directed the television magazine Asteon.
She has been a columnist for more than 10 years in different media, writing articles, interviewing or writing stories. Among others she has published Euskaldunon Egunkaria, Gara, Aizu, Habe, Euskadi Irratia... You can now read her columns every Wednesday in the section of Guipúzcoa Plaza of the Basque newspaper.
Her first book of stories was Tentazioak, published in 1998. She received the Zazpi Kale price for the best-selling book at the Bilbao Book Fair.
In 2000 he presented her Korapiloak project to grant Igartza, where she was awarded the second price. Korapiloak was published in 2001 and won the Euskadi de Plata to the best-selling book at the Donostia Book Fair. The book begins by telling how a man kidnaps, rapes, and kills his girlfriend. During the novel she tells what she has felt during that kidnapping. Death, passion, love, hate and sex are the components that weave this story.
In 2001 it offers the youngest readers the adventures of the adolescent Jara. Later came Jara, Bikiak eta Bikoteak, Jara Bartzelonan and Jara Live. The year 2009 is born a new youthful character, Ezekiel and 2012 publishes the second part, Ezekiel Nora Ezean. Jara and Ezekiel have been recognised on more than one occasion and have received the Juul and Liburu Gaztea awards, where readers choose their favourite books.
Thanks to a scholarship granted by the Deputation of Gipuzkoa, in 2002 Jasone travels to Barcelona to pursue a postgraduate degree in Film Script. There she wrote her first adult novel (2003), Greta.
Bi Marra Arrosa. In it, Jasone narrates in first person the experience that lived during her first pregnancy.
She has also participated with other writers in several books: Gutiziak, Euskal Idazleen Ipuin Erotikoak, Bakarrizketan and Titiriteroen ipuinak. 2014 publishes the children's book Muma Mamua.
In 2015, and after winning the scholarship "XVI. Agustin Zubikarai ", publishes the novel "12etan bermuta ".
Now she is the president of Euskal Idazleen Elkartea.
